Mainstream and Alternative Music Stars to Release Album for Charity

With news about the album slowly bubbling out, artists like Kanye West, Mumford and Sons, The National, and Ellie Goulding are working to release an album that would contribute and bring awareness for global poverty and the issue it causes.

With the combined types of music from Kanye's rap knowledge, Mumford's folk, and The National's moody alternative rock, the album should be quite the listen. Though many artists have united before for this cause (like the event 'USA For Africa' that yielded the song "We Are the World" in the 1980s), an entire album release is noteworthy for the time and effort put into it.
