Rock Legend David Bowie Passes Away

Rock and roll legend David Robert Jones, known by his stage name David Bowie, has passed away at the age of 69. Bowie was best known for his transformative rock and roll music that began in 1969 with his first hit "Space Oddity." He was a theatrical and musical genius, writing hundreds of songs and performing in multiple movies, including Jim Henson's Labyrinth and The Man Who Fell to Earth. He was best known for his portrayal of the spaceman Ziggy Stardust during his glam rock phase in the 70's. He died due to cancer, but published an album and musical within a month before his passing.
